Once the skin begins to crack, take them out. Plunge the tomatoes into icy cold water to cool them. With a paring knife begin removing the skin. It should come off easily.

While tomatoes and peppers are in the traditional type, you do not have to be traditional. Pineapple and mango is another great combination. Use your imagination and get creative to prepare varieties that you and your family will enjoy.

Put all of the ingredients into the food processor. Pulse until you have the consistency that you like. Pour it out and place it into a container with a lid. Keep it refrigerated. This actually tastes better later in the day or the next day. If you are planning to serve it in the evening prepare it early in the day or the day before. The flavors will have a chance to come together this way.
